Metallic Based Self-lubricating Bushing

TL- METAL AC

The disparity between the static and dynamic friction coefficients is decreased by the uniformly dispersed solid lubricants. Even in the presence of very little movements, this material can function steadily. On the bearing surface, oil deposits or grooves could be created upon request to hold oil, grease, or any other potential containments. It is appropriate for applications with a medium to low load. For the duration improvement of the bearings, routine lubrication is advised.

Structure

1. Solid Lubricants, dispersed into the alloy powder to establish lubricating film improving the friction coefficients and wear resistance feature.

2. Bronze alloy, provides mechanical strength and improve the impact resistance and wear resistance.

3. Steel Backing, provides the mechanical strength of the bearing.

Applications

The material is appropriate for use with medium to light loads. It offers good wear resistance and a low friction coefficient. It is advised to lubricate using light oil, and routine lubrication extends the life of the bearing.

The hydro turbine, plastic injection machine guide bushings, tyre mold, and other wear plates and sliding bearings are examples of typical applications for this material.
