Metallic Based Self-lubricating Bushing

TL-HP Bushings

SELF-LUBRICATING PLASTIC BUSHINGS

TL-HP bushings incorporate friction and wear reducing additives throughout the plastic layer structure ensuring consistent performance in limited-motion applications and resistance to shock and vibration loads.

 Applications

  • Offshore cranes industry
  • Handling equipment: Harbour Crane
  • Hydropower: Wagon gates, Butterfly valves, Turbines (Wicket gate, Operating Ring, servomotor)

Product characteristics

TL-HP Bushing is materials designed for high pressure applications. The bushing component elastomeric plastic bonded in a metallic shell.

Design operation load

Static pressure max (MPa): 80
Dynamic pressure max (MPa) Speed (m/s):  60
Speed (m/s):  0.5

Standard tolerances

Shaft tolerances:  H7/H8
Optimal shaft roughness:  Ra < 0.4 -0.8

Advantages of TL-HP Bushing

-   Maintenance free

-   Low water absorption

-   High load bearing capacity

-   Lowest coefficient of friction

-    High resistant shock loading

Complete configuration

TL- HP Bushings supplied with fully finished machining and size to suit the actual dimension approval by customer

Mating shaft

TL- HP Bushing were developed to run without lubrication. Therefore, counter shafts should be treated against corrosion. For optimum performance, a final machined mating surface finish of 0.4 to 0.8 micro- Ra is recommended.
